How to debate this topic....question

Hi! I had a friend write this to me and I was wanting input on how to debate that she is wrong. Can you guys help me? What she said is underlined bellow. Thanks! ~Rebekah

"Except that he raised taxes in Arkansas while he was governor. Also, His whole idea of doing away with the IRS actually came after Ron Paul presented the idea. Ron Paul will never make it… but he is a wishful choice."

This was my reply to her.....

"I have never heard of Ron Paul talk about fair tax. I would like to read or listen to it. Actually Huckabee never said he came up with it. In fact he said that he did not come up with it. and neither did Ron Paul. Georgia Republican John Linder first introduced the Fair Tax Act (HR 2525) in July 1999 to the 106th United States Congress. Huckabee and Paul just adopted the belief.

I have watched all the debates with Ron Paul and do not like the way he thinks. In my opinion Ron Paul opinion on the war is completely off. But I have to vote for someone who has more of a chance then Ron Paul and who is Dead set Against abortion. I cant waste my vote on someone who cant win and let McCain who has flip flopped on Abortion make it. Besides Chuck Norris told me too….hehe."
