How to Help Huckabee

1) Just wanted to get a discussion going on what you or your area is doing to help Mike! We have a meeting tonight and will be distributing 255,000 phone numbers to volunteers to call over the next 3 weeks.

2) Car Parades.... Each Saturday a group of 10 - 20 cars get together with Huckabee signs and drive the streets. People Love it! They honk and wave and it really helps build awareness.

How about you?

Well... something that I try to do is to view all the blog posts I can, find the misleading information and work to make sure the truth is represented in those post... you have to be careful and not argumentative... I just want people to know that Huckabee is a solid candidate and I believe he should have an opportunity to be viewed as viable... I think he might be the first president in a long time that is actually, "of the people, by the people for the people."

Well, I am a member of several of the local meetup groups in my area. I am in FL and with the Primaries around the corner I have been doing everything I can. Last Saturday I attended a sign waive at the Gun Show. Then Sunday I attended another sign waive/rally at a huge church and handed out voter guides as well as literature on Mike and his views. We had alot of support and alot of people driving by honking and waiving. It was fun. We were also registering people to vote. Then last night I attended a meetup and discussed our strategies. Today I was invited to an FAU event at the college by the college's republican group. They had tables set up for each political party. So I joined the Republican table and added lots of informative handouts and bumper stickers to the table. There was also stickers and information on the other Republican candidates but Huckabee seemed to get the most attention from students passing by. My friend and I had the most handouts and information to hand out. Other candidate supporter's had one or 2 small things but nothing much. Many of the supporters that attended simply stood around and did nothing. My friend and I were out in the crowd answering question and handing out material. We registered about 10 or so students to vote and also got some of the FL Marriage Amendment Petitions signed as well! It was a pretty good turn out and I ran out of some of my print outs which was a good thing. All this happened in a period of 3 hours this afternoon. Tomorrow I am attending another meetup as well. On top of all of that, I also spend alot of time on the internet, spreading the word about Huckabee by posting blogs and information. So... I am trying and we all need to try our best so he will win. Go Huckabee!

Hey, Awesome Job!! I'm going to steal some of your ideas ;-)

We organized a small group of Huckabee supporters 10 days ago using Meetup.com - which is VERY important to all the grassroots Huckabee organizations in the US. We joined the national Mike Huckabee organizers meetup to share ideas and resources across the country. We're pinning up flyers for Mr. Huckabee (and our Meetup campaign volunteer group) on the bulletin boards of grocery stores, laundromats, community centers...any where they'll let us.

Yesterday a dozen or so of us took turns standing out in the 20 degree weather waving our HUCKABEE signs at a major intersection down the road from our RALLY - held last night at a local church. We had 3 dozen people or so show up to hear the live phone call broadcast from Mrs. Janet Huckabee, Future First Lady of the US, and to get info on Mike Huckabee, and the Nevada caucus, which happened today. We also had laptops set up at the Rally and helped people make online donations at MikeHuckabee.com - raised a few hundred dollars. We had buttons and bumper stickers and signs available for people to take.

At the caucus today, we all volunteered to be delegates or alternates for our precincts at the Nevada caucus. Now we're going to have delegates training. Through the national Meetup group, we're volunteering to take lists for Florida and Maine voters and make phone calls using our cell phones and our off-peak minutes. We've joined the Meetups for Huckabee at several cities in California, our neighboring state who will have a primary on Super Tuesday - Feb. 5th. We'll be driving over to help them with sign waves and maybe some canvassing before their election.

Then we'll be meeting again to get our gameplan together to support Mike Huckabee between Feb. and November. Find a local Huckabee group at Meetup.com!

Wow Gia! That is awesome!. You all are extremely active which is great to see. Wish all Huckabee supporters were like us. He would surely win with no problem if that were the case. I am in quite a few meetup groups. Yesterday 3 of us went to a huge Christian Homeschooling sports meetup and put information packets for huckabee along with voter guides on about 100 cars. Then we headed down to Miami and joined the Miami meetup group. A large groups of us attended the Gun & Knife Show and walked around in our Huckabee Shirts and pins talking to whoever would listen. LOL We had information to pass out but security would not allow us to. Then after the gun show we all met up in the parking lot and decorated our cars with Huckabee signs, flags, and wrote on our windows with window chalk. Then we drove all around Miami in a huge caravan line honking non-stop. LOL It was fun. We must have drove 50 miles or so. It was awesome. I will post pictures soon for those who would like to see. We are also getting ready to meet Mike Huckabee in person this Friday coming up. He will be speaking at a breakfast at our church restaurant. We already purchased our tickets. I can't wait! Thursday night we will all be attending the Live debate at FAU. There is no more room inside so we are setting up a table and having sign waivers all over. The news media will be there live as well so we will be purposely positioned behind camera people hopefully. I am so excited. This morning we are supposed to be meeting up for a sign waive in front of another big church in the area. Everyone keep up the great work. By the way... Huckabee NEEDS to win Florida to stay in the race. He came in second by only 3 tiny points which was disappointing. If anyone can help make phone calls for Florida or donate for him to be able to advertise that would be great! Thanks so much!
